Dr. Diron Wunderlich opened Animal House Veterinary Clinic, February 10, 2003, back in the same community in which he grew up. He graduated from Smithson Vally High School in 1986, earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Southwest Texas State University, 1991, and received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 1996 from Texas A&M University.
Dr. Wunderlich married his high school sweetheart, Roxanne, and together they have two wonderful daughters; Hannah, a sophomore at Canyon Lake High and Kayla, a 6th grader at Mountain Valley Middle. He and his family reside on the Wunderlich family ranch here in Spring Branch.
When he is not working at the clinic, Dr. Wunderlich enjoys the outdoors- hunting, fishing, golf, but his real passion is his swine operation. “Team Wunderlich” farrow 12-15 sows a year, raising and showing pigs around the state. We win as a family and we lose as a family, but we have a blast doing it.
Establishing Animal House Veterinary Clinic has given Dr. Wunderlich the opportunity to serve his friends, family, and community with quality veterinary care for their pets.
I have been with Dr. Wunderlich since the opened in 2003. I was raised in Spring Branch, Graduated form Smithson Valley High School and still live on my family’s ranch with my husband, Wade, and my 2 kids, Jase is 15 and attends SVHS, Jena is 7 and attends Arlon Seay Elementary. I also have 5 dogs, chickens, cows, and sheep and will soon add pigs to my herd.
I have has a great 10 years here at Animal House Veterinary Clinic and am looking forward to many more. It’s all the wonderful clients and their furry family members that make this so much more than a job.
Hi, my name is Kristy. I have worked here with Dr. Wunderlich for 4 years. After a career change, I have found myself here in the vet field. I love what I do and have learned a lot.
I have always enjoyed being around and working with animals. When I am not here at the clinic I am spending time with my husband of 12 years Jeff and my 9 year old son Dylan. We enjoy camping, going to the beach, and hanging outside with our furry family members, Shadow and Sofie, and barbequing. I can’t wait to see you here at the clinic.
